Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Creator of all things, I thank You for the gift of a new day. You are the author of all beginnings. As I wake up this morning, I humbly ask for Your guidance and strength to face the day.
I reflect on the verse from Hosea 4:7, "As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame." Lord, it is a stern reminder that prosperity and abundance can lead us astray. As we increase, so can our sins and transgressions against You.
May we remember, Adonai, that our wealth, status or power should not be our glory, but rather, our glory should be in our faith, in our love and obedience to Your commandments. Turn our hearts away from the allure of ego and help us to use our gifts and blessings to honor You and to serve others.
Help us, Hashem, not fall into the trap of arrogance and pride, but to always remember that all we have comes from You. May we remain humble, thankful and mindful of our actions, ensuring they are aligned with Your will.
May we always strive for tikkun olam, repairing the world, and tzedakah, acts of charity. May our lives exemplify the values of Torah: truth, peace, and loving-kindness.
I pray for Your divine wisdom to guide my thoughts, words, and actions today, so that they can be a reflection of Your glory, not a source of shame.
In Your mercy, bless this new day, O Lord, and help me to honor You in everything I do.
Baruch Atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech HaOlam, for the gift of life, for the gift of a new day, and for the gift of Your everlasting love and guidance.
Amen.
