Heavenly Father, Elohim, source of all life and giver of all good things, I stand before You as I begin this day, grateful for the blessing of life and the opportunities that lay before me.

As I rise from sleep, I am reminded of Your words in the Book of Psalms, chapter 18 verse 40, "Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me." But dear Lord, I ask not for the destruction of those who despise me, but rather for the strength to face adversity and the wisdom to turn enemies into friends.

Guide me, oh Lord, in the path of righteousness, just as King David sought Your guidance in times of turmoil. Let me approach each challenge with courage, knowing that You are with me, empowering me to overcome the adversities of life.

Teach me, oh Lord, to love my neighbor as myself, to seek peace and pursue it, reflecting the true values of the Jewish faith. Let me not be consumed by hatred or anger, but rather be filled with Your divine love and understanding.

May I always remember that You, oh Lord, are my rock and my fortress. In You, my trust is unshaken, for you are my shield and the horn of my salvation. May I embrace each day with the spirit of humility, compassion, and forgiveness, knowing that in doing so, I honor You.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has granted us life, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this moment. As I face this new day, may I do so with courage, wisdom, and love, reflecting Your divine light to the world.
