Heavenly Father, our God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, I approach Your holy presence with gratitude and humility as I begin this day You have graciously given. I acknowledge Your power and might, the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who is, who was, and who is to come.
I am humbled by the verse in Obadiah 1:21, "And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's." Let this verse serve as a reminder of Your divine justice and ultimate sovereignty. It teaches us that you raise saviours among us, and inspire us to strive for righteousness and justice in our daily lives.
Grant me the wisdom and courage, oh Lord, to act justly and love mercy, as you have commanded us in Your Torah. Help me to be a beacon of Your light in this world, to embody the values of compassion, integrity, and justice that are so inherent in our Jewish faith.
In the spirit of the saviours who shall rise from Mount Zion, empower me to stand up for what is right, to be a voice for the voiceless, and to serve my fellow humans with kindness and empathy. Help me to remember that the kingdom shall be Yours, and thus, guide me to live in a way that honours Your kingdom.
May I carry the lessons from the Torah and our sages throughout this day, and may my actions reflect Your righteous judgement. Let Your divine wisdom guide my thoughts, words, and deeds.
Thank you for Your loving-kindness and faithfulness that never cease. Your mercies are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness, oh Lord.
In the name of the God of Israel, who watches over us, guides us, and sustains us, I offer this prayer. May Your divine light shine upon us and guide our path this day and every day. Amen.
