Blessed art Thou, O Lord our God, King of the universe, who bestows upon us wisdom and understanding to discern the teachings of our sacred texts. As I wake to see another day, I am reminded of Your divine guidance and everlasting love.

I reflect upon the verse from the book of Joshua, "Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you."

May this verse serve as a reminder to me that challenges and tribulations are part of life. May they not break me, but rather strengthen my faith in You, O Lord. Teach me to stand strong and righteous in the face of adversity, and to always uphold the values and virtues of our Jewish faith.

Bless me, O Lord, with the will to carry out Your commandments with joy and devotion, to love and respect my neighbors, and to contribute to the betterment of Your creation. May Your divine wisdom guide me through this day, and may Your protection be upon me.

I am grateful for the blessings that You have bestowed upon me and upon the land that You have given us. Help me to always remember the lessons of our ancestors, and to pass them on to future generations.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, who has given us the light of day, the warmth of love, and the wisdom of Your teachings. I pray for Your guidance and protection as I embark on this new day.
