In the tranquil silence of the morning, we gather our hearts, minds, and spirits to the present moment, to the sacred breath of life. In the essence of the Dhamma, we seek guidance, wisdom, and strength.
Oh, Noble and Enlightened One, the Buddha, we reflect upon Your teachings. Just as the fragrance of tagara and sandal is faint, so too are the fleeting pleasures of this world.
May we embrace the virtues You have taught us - mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom, that our lives may carry the fragrant scent of moral purity, wafting even amongst the gods, spreading peace and harmony in our world.
Guide us, Compassionate One, to transform our minds, to cultivate a heart that blooms like the noblest of flowers, shedding the fragrance of kindness, understanding, and love.
Teach us, Blessed Buddha, to live our lives as a testament to Your teachings, spreading the fragrance of virtue in every word spoken, every action taken, every thought conceived.
May our actions be as pure as the white lotus, unsoiled by the muddy waters of ignorance and delusion. May we rise above the worldly attachments, shining brightly with the light of wisdom and understanding.
As the sun rises in the morning sky, may our wisdom rise above ignorance. As the lotus blooms in the morning light, may our hearts bloom with unconditional love and compassion.
In the silence of this moment, we offer our aspirations to the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha. May we live in accordance with Your teachings, spreading the sweet fragrance of virtue in every direction.
For the benefit of all beings, may we be a refuge of peace, a beacon of hope, and a source of boundless love.
We end this prayer with the mantra:
"May I be a vessel of virtue, may my life be a fragrance of Dhamma."
May this mantra guide our thoughts, words, and actions throughout this day and all the days to come.
In the wisdom of Buddha, we trust.
