In the quiet of this sacred dawn, I awaken to the wisdom of the Dhammapada, the teachings of the Enlightened One. I bow in humble reverence to the elders, the carriers of ancient wisdom and eternal truths.
Blessed they are, in their ageless beauty, the keepers of the Dharma, the embodiment of compassion and wisdom. To serve them is to embrace the path of righteousness, to learn from them is to drink from the wellspring of enlightenment.
As I soak in the morning's light, I invoke the blessings that come from such devotion - long life, radiant beauty, boundless happiness, and strength in character. May I live long to learn and grow, may I radiate the inner beauty of kindness and understanding, may I find happiness in the simplicity of being, and may I possess the power to transform suffering into joy.
Inspired by the teachings of the Buddha, I aspire to walk this noble path, serving and revering the elders, embodying their wisdom, and carrying forth their teachings into the world. With each step, may I remember the virtues of patience, kindness, and understanding.
As the sun begins its journey across the sky, I vow to uphold these teachings, to transform my heart and mind, and to bring light to every corner of the world.
Here and now, I affirm: "May I serve with love, live with wisdom, and be a beacon of compassion. May I be a vessel of peace, a conduit of joy, and a pillar of strength."
And as I journey through the day, I hold this powerful mantra close to my heart: "Serve with Love, Live with Wisdom."
May all beings be happy. May all beings be free. May all beings be at peace.
