Blessed are You, O Eternal, our God, Sovereign of the Universe, who has given us life, sustained us, and brought us to this new day.
As we rise with the morning sun, we reflect on Your wisdom as we ponder Your words, "Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?" We seek Your guidance and clarity in this, as in all things.
Grant us the humility to acknowledge that our wisdom and understanding comes from You, not from our own might or power. May we ever strive for the wisdom that comes from knowing You and Your ways, and not from the fleeting knowledge of this world.
As the wise men of Edom were humbled, may we too never forget that all our achievements are but reflections of Your divine blessings. As understanding was taken from the mount of Esau, remind us to continually seek understanding from Your holy Torah, and not from the heights of our own arrogance or pride.
As we begin this day, guide our thoughts, our words, and our actions. May we be a light unto others, reflecting Your love and justice in all we do. May we walk humbly with You, O God, and serve with a willing heart.
In the name of Your holy wisdom, we pray.
Amen.
