Blessed art Thou, Hashem, our God, King of the Universe, who has granted us another day of life and allowed us to rise in the morning to serve You.
As Zadok, son of Immer, and Shemaiah, son of Shechaniah, repaired their respective places, let us too, repair our hearts and minds, embracing the day ahead with faith and courage. As they served by the east gate, let us too, serve as gatekeepers, standing firm against negativity and preserving the sanctity of our faith.
May we be inspired by the diligence and faithfulness of Zadok and Shemaiah, reflecting the same in our daily lives, our words, and our actions. Grant us the wisdom to live according to Your mitzvot, and the compassion to treat each other with kindness and respect.
May we have the strength to repair any rifts in our relationships, to seek forgiveness, and to forgive others. As we stand before the gate of this new day, let us be keepers of peace, love, and unity.
We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon us and the lessons we learn each day. May we always be grateful, and may we always strive to be deserving of Your divine grace.
Blessed are You, Hashem, who listens to prayer. Amen.
