Blessed be You, our God, Creator of the Universe, the One who gives strength to the weary and increases vitality to those who are weak.
As I rise with the morning light, I remember the struggle of our patriarch Jacob, who wrestled with an angel until the break of dawn, his thigh touched, his joint displaced. Yet he did not surrender nor yield in despair, rather he emerged victorious, his name changed to Israel - for he had striven with God and with men, and had prevailed.
May I embody the spirit of Jacob today and every day, wrestling with the challenges that life presents and never giving up. Even when my strength is tested, when my joints feel out of place, may I hold steadfast in my faith, never ceasing to strive for understanding, peace, and righteousness.
Help me, Lord, to see every struggle as an opportunity for growth, every challenge as a chance for victory. May I walk in the path of Your commandments, embodying Your divine values of kindness, justice, and humility.
Just as Jacob did not let go until he received a blessing, I too shall hold fast to my faith, awaiting Your blessings in every moment, trusting in Your divine plan. May my daily wrestle bring me closer to You and to the person I aspire to be.
Blessed are You, God of Jacob, who gives us the strength to wrestle, to strive, and to prevail.
In Your name, I start my day, prepared to face the struggles ahead, graced with the strength of our forefathers. Amen.
