Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has granted us life, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this new day.
As we rise with the dawn, we reflect on the words of Your servant, David, and the house built for him by Hiram, King of Tyre. We are reminded of the cedar trees, the carpenters, and masons who contributed to the building of his home.
May we, like the carpenters and masons, utilize our skills and abilities to build a world full of love, kindness, and understanding. As the cedar trees were used to build David's house, may we use our resources wisely, sharing with those in need, and contributing to the betterment of our communities.
Teach us, O Lord, the value of cooperation and mutual respect, as evidenced in the relationship between David and Hiram. Let their example guide our dealings with others, fostering relationships that transcend boundaries and differences.
Grant us, O God, the strength to face the challenges of this day, with the wisdom of David and the industrious spirit of Hiram. Bless our endeavors, our relationships, and our journeys as we strive to fulfill your commandments and uphold our Jewish values.
May we always be aware of Your presence, O God, and may we strive to walk in Your ways, bringing honor to Your name and blessings to Your people.
In your mercy, grant us a day of peace, love, and prosperity. In the spirit of gratitude, we say, Amen.
