Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who grants us life, sustains us and enables us to reach this new day. As we arise, we give thanks for the breath of life within us, and for the gift of another day to serve You and Your people.

We are reminded, oh Lord, of the verse in Ecclesiastes, "All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongs his life in his wickedness." We understand the complexities of life, the paradoxes that often confront us, and the mysteries that we grapple with in our daily existence.

In the face of these, grant us the wisdom to discern the righteous path, the courage to walk in it even when it is hard, and the faith to believe in Your divine justice, for we know that Your righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne.

Help us, oh Lord, to draw closer to You in our commitment to live righteously. Even when it seems that the wicked prosper, let us not be dismayed, but help us to trust in Your timing and Your judgment.

As we embark on our tasks for the day, guide us in our deeds and decisions, that we may reflect Your love, justice, and mercy in all our interactions. May we be vessels of Your peace, bringing light where there is darkness, hope where there is despair, and comfort where there is pain.

We ask that You bless our efforts, oh Lord, and make them fruitful for Your glory. Be our strength when we are weak, our guide when we are lost, and our comforter when we are distressed.

In all things, we give thanks to You, Lord our God, for Your steadfast love endures forever. Amen.
