In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

Ya Allah, the Holder of Majesty and Honor, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise,

I acknowledge Your divine wisdom in revealing to us Your Book, that is a beacon of guidance, a light in the darkness, and a compass in the storm. I am grateful for the wisdom and the guidance that You have bestowed upon us through Your word.

Ya Allah, I seek Your help and Your guidance to recite what has been revealed from Your Book. I pray that You strengthen my resolve, increase my understanding and expand my capacity to remember and apply Your teachings.

Ya Allah, the Sustainer of the universe, I seek Your assistance in maintaining my prayers, in standing before You with humility and sincerity, in prostrating before You in full submission. I pray that my prayers act as a shield against indecencies and wrongs, that they purify my heart, cleanse my soul, and keep me steadfast on the path of righteousness.

Ya Allah, make my prayers a means of remembrance of You, a means of drawing closer to You, and a means of attaining Your pleasure. Remind me that the remembrance of You is indeed greater, that it brings peace to the heart, tranquility to the soul, and contentment to the mind.

Ya Allah, You are the All-Knowing, the All-Seeing and nothing is hidden from You. You know every deed that I do, every thought that crosses my mind, and every feeling that stirs within my heart. I pray that You inspire me to do good deeds, to think good thoughts, and to harbor good feelings that are pleasing to You.
