Supreme Lord, the embodiment of infinite wisdom and divine love, I seek your divine grace as I commence this new day.
From the sacred Bhagavad Gita, chapter 3 verse 37, I am reminded of the profound wisdom you imparted to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. You unveiled that lust, born out of contact with the mode of passion, later transforms into anger, becoming the all-consuming sinful enemy in our worldly life.
Today, I pray to you, oh Divine One, to grant me the strength to overcome this enemy, to rise above lust and anger. Kindly bestow upon me the power of discernment to distinguish between the transient and the eternal, between the physical and the spiritual.
Help me to control my senses and align my actions with Dharma. Please guide me on the path of righteousness and let not the passions of my mind divert me from my duty. Help me to stand firm in my spiritual endeavors, following the path of selfless service, devotion, and surrender.
May your divine wisdom illuminate my mind, freeing me from the shackles of material desire, anger, and ignorance. May I aspire to live in harmony with all beings, radiating compassion, tolerance, and unconditional love.
As I go about my day, let me remember your teachings, oh Lord Krishna. Let me cultivate inner peace, self-restraint, and a compassionate heart, drawing closer to you with each passing moment.
And so, I conclude my prayer with a simple mantra to carry with me throughout the day:
"Om Shanti Shanti Shanti"
May there be peace within me, peace surrounding me, and peace throughout the world.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
