Divine Presence, the source of all existence, I humbly come before you today. As the sun rises and the world awakens, I too, awaken to the duty that lies before me.
With each breath drawn, teach me to release my attachment to the fruits of my actions. Just as the trees bear fruit but do not consume them, let me too perform my duties, not for reward, but because it is my innate nature, my dharma.
Guide me, O Divine, to not be swayed by the outcomes, but to focus on the action itself. Let my work be an offering to you, a testament of my devotion and surrender. Just as the Gita teaches in verse 3.19, may I attain the Supreme through my unattached actions.
With every task, every word, every thought, let me remember that my duty is not to the result, but to the act. Let my actions be selfless, devoid of expectation, and filled with pure intent.
May I be a vessel through which your divine will flows, performing my duties with diligence and dedication, without desire for reward.
As I navigate through the whirlwind of this earthly existence, let me be anchored in the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, reminding myself constantly that by giving up attachment, I inch closer to the Supreme.
Now, as I step into this day, may I carry the following mantra in my heart, repeating it with each breath:
"Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma Phaleshou Kada Chana" (Your right is to perform your duties, and never lay claim to the result).
May this mantra guide me, remind me, and fill me with divine light throughout the day, anchoring me in your divine wisdom and grace.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti. (Peace, Peace, Peace)
