O Supreme Lord, the divine essence of all that exists,
You who are Brahman, the eternal, absolute reality,
I bow before you in humble recognition of your infinite presence.
O Divine One, enlighten me about adhyatma,
That is the individual soul, the spirit in every living being,
May I understand its immortality, its divine nature,
And its eternal bond with you.
O Krishna, guide me to comprehend the law of karma,
The actions and their fruits, the cause and the effect,
May I perform my duties selflessly, without attachment,
Understanding that all actions are offerings unto you.
O Enlightener, illuminate me about adhibhuta,
The perishable physical entities that dwell in your creation,
May I perceive the transient nature of physical existence,
And strive towards the eternal.
O Supreme one, reveal to me Adhidaiva,
You who presides over all the deities and celestial beings,
May I see you in all divine forms,
Recognizing you as the ultimate source of all power.
O Krishna, You who are Adhiyajna, the Lord of all sacrifices,
Residing within the body, the temple of the soul,
May I realize you as the inner witness, the overseer,
The permitter of all actions and the receiver of all sacrifices.
O Divine guide, at the moment of death,
May my mind be steadfast, my devotion unwavering,
May my last thoughts be of you, O Krishna,
As You are to be known at the hour of death.
I close this prayer with a simple mantra, a divine phrase to be echoed throughout the day:
"Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya"
I bow to the Lord who resides in the hearts of all beings.
May this prayer inspire me, guide me, and keep me connected with you, O Supreme Lord.
