Oh Divine presence, the Eternal Witness,
You who pervade all the cosmos, yet remain detached,
We seek your guidance as we navigate our worldly existence.
You, who are beyond the three modes of material nature - Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas,
Help us understand that neither the sense of doership nor the nature of actions comes from you,
Nor do you create the fruits of our actions.
Help us remember that our actions are simply interactions of these three modes,
That our sense of doership is but an illusion,
And the fruits of actions are not borne of your will.
In your infinite wisdom, you allow nature's laws to govern,
Let us see beyond our limited perception,
And understand that our actions are merely the playing out of these modes.
Help us surrender our ego, let go of our attachment to results,
May we perform our duties selflessly, as an offering to you,
And understand that you are the ultimate Doer, the primal cause.
Free us from the bondage of these modes, lead us to transcendence,
To the state of pure consciousness, where only truth resides,
Help us realize our true nature, untouched, untainted by the material world.
As we engage in our daily tasks, remind us of your eternal truth,
That we are not the doers, nor the enjoyers of the fruits,
But mere witnesses of this grand cosmic play.
