Om Bhagavan,
As the sun rises, I humbly bow to you, the eternal source of all wisdom and understanding. I acknowledge your divine presence, your supreme energy, and your infinite grace that permeates every atom of this universe.
Today, I seek your guidance as I strive to fulfill my dharma, the purpose and duty that you have bestowed upon me. Remind me, O Lord, of the wisdom embedded in the sacred Bhagavad Gita, chapter 18 verse 47, that it is better to do one's own dharma, even if imperfectly, than to master another's, even if perfectly.
Guide me, O Divine, to fully embrace my unique path, even with its imperfections, for I understand that it is through fulfilling my innate duties that I can serve you best.
Grant me the strength, O Lord, to resist the allure of paths that are not mine, however glittering they may be. Let me find fulfillment and peace in the pursuit of my own dharma, without fear or doubt.
Bless me with the wisdom to see that by performing my duties with sincerity and devotion, I am serving you and the greater good of all beings.
As I navigate through the trials and tribulations of life, may I never forget this divine truth. May I always remember my duty and perform it with integrity and dedication.
Endow me with the courage, understanding, and patience to accept my imperfections as stepping stones towards spiritual growth and enlightenment.
As I end this prayer, I carry with me your divine wisdom, and the mantra:
"Swadharma nidhanam shreyah, sva-dharme nidhanam shreyah"
("It is better to die in one's own dharma, than to live in the dharma of another.")
May this mantra guide me throughout the day, reminding me to stay true to my path and purpose.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
