Dear Heavenly Father,

As I rise with the morning light, I am filled with gratitude for the gift of a new day. I am reminded of Your Word in the Gospel of John, "This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me."

Lord, I am humbled by Your eternal presence, which predates everything in existence. Like John the Baptist acknowledged your preeminence, I too recognize that You are above all. I am comforted by the knowledge that Jesus, who was before all things, holds my life in His hands.

As I embark on the activities of this day, may I remember that Jesus is ever-present and ever-loving. Please guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions, so that they may reflect the love of Christ who is preferred before me.

Help me to walk in humility and grace, placing others before myself as Jesus did. Teach me to serve with a loving heart, remembering that Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. As I navigate through this day, may my actions honor You and bring glory to Your name.

May I exhibit kindness, patience, and love in every interaction. May I be a beacon of Your light in a world filled with darkness. Grant me the strength to stand firm in my faith, to be bold in proclaiming Your truth, and to have unyielding faith in Your promises.

Father, I dedicate this day to You. May everything I do be a pleasing offering to You. I trust in Your guidance and ask for Your protection as I journey through this day.

In the name of Jesus, who was and is and is to come, I pray.
