Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You this morning with a heart full of gratitude and praise. I acknowledge Your sovereignty and Your great love that has seen me through to another day. As You decreed in Exodus 31:17, "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed."

Lord, let this verse be a constant reminder of Your magnificence and the wonders of Your creation. I thank You for the work of Your hands, for creating the heaven and the earth in six days, and for teaching us the importance of rest. Just as You rested on the seventh day and were refreshed, teach me, O Lord, to find rest in You, to seek Your face and rejuvenate in Your presence.

As I embark on the tasks of this day, may I do so with the understanding that everything I have and will accomplish is by Your grace and power. May the work of my hands be pleasing to You, and may it serve to glorify Your name.

Guide my steps, O Lord, throughout this day. Let me show love to my neighbors and kindness to those I encounter, reflecting Your light in all that I do. Help me to stand strong in faith, to honor You, and to cherish the world You've created.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, and for the promise of a new day. May I always remember to rest in You as You rested on the seventh day, finding my strength and refreshment in Your presence.
