Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before You in this early morning hour, seeking Your presence as I start my day.

I am reminded, Lord, of the scripture in the 1st Book of Samuel, chapter 18, verse 12, where it was said that Saul feared David, because You, Oh Lord, were with David and had departed from Saul. Father, may this verse be a constant reminder to me that Your presence is my greatest advantage. May I never take Your presence for granted.

Just as You were with David, so I ask that You be with me today. I pray for Your divine guidance in all my undertakings. Let Your wisdom be my guide and Your peace my constant companion. May I not be moved by the fear of man, but instead, stand firm in the knowledge that You are with me.

I ask for Your protection, Lord, against any form of evil that may try to disrupt my day. Let Your light shine upon me, and through me, that others may see You in my actions. Help me to live in a way that glorifies You, to be kind, to be compassionate, and to love unconditionally, reflecting the values You have taught me through Your Word.

Lord, I thank You for this new day, for the opportunities it brings, and the growth it promises. I ask You to bless me and my loved ones, to keep us safe and provide our needs according to Your riches in glory.

As I step out today, may I do so with the consciousness of Your presence with me. Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. May my day be filled with Your grace, and may my actions bring glory to Your name.
