Heavenly Father,

I come to You this morning with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit yearning for Your divine wisdom. I acknowledge Your sovereignty and recognise Your powerful hand in my life. As I rise to face the new day, I remember the lessons from the book of Kings, in the 14th chapter and 10th verse, where King Rehoboam rejected the wisdom of the elders.

Lord, I pray that You guide me not to make the same mistake. Teach me to be humble, to listen and value the wisdom of those who have walked this path before me. Grant me the discernment to separate the truth from the falsehood, and the courage to accept guidance even when it is difficult or contrary to my own desires.

May I seek counsel not only from man, but from Your holy scriptures and through prayer. Help me to understand that every piece of advice is a chance to learn and to grow in Your image. Mold me, Oh, Lord, into a vessel of wisdom and understanding, so I may serve You and others better.

I pray for Your grace and mercy, Lord. Bless me with the strength to face the challenges of the day, and the faith to know that with You by my side, no obstacle is insurmountable. Let my actions today reflect Your love, and may my words be a testament of Your wisdom.

As I step out today, I ask for Your protection and guidance. Lead me along the path of righteousness and help me to be a beacon of Your love and light in the world.

I submit all my plans and aspirations into Your hands, trusting that Your will is perfect and Your love for me is everlasting.
