Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You this morning with a humble heart, full of gratitude for the gift of a new day. I thank You for the breath of life, for the peace that surrounds me, and for Your unending love and mercy.

As I embark on today's journey, I draw strength and wisdom from Job 18:7, "The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down." Remind me, dear Lord, that in my own strength I can do nothing, but with You, all things are possible. May my steps today not be guided by my own wisdom, but by Your divine counsel.

Lord, straiten my steps according to Your will. When I am tempted to rely on my own counsel, cast me down in the gentlest of ways, reminding me that Your ways are higher. Let my every decision, action, and word reflect Your love and righteousness.

Clothe me with the armor of Your word to stand against the snares of the enemy, and let me be a beacon of Your light in every place that I go. Bless and protect my loved ones, and let Your peace reign in our hearts.

I surrender every worry, every fear, and every uncertainty to You. I know that You are with me, guiding me, providing for me, and loving me unconditionally.

Thank you, Lord, for Your promise of grace and mercy that is new every morning. Let my life today be a sweet fragrance to You as I strive to walk in obedience and faithfulness.
