In the silent serenity of the morning, I seek refuge in the wisdom of the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha. May their guidance illuminate my path, as the dawn dispels the darkness of the night.
May I not be led astray by false perceptions and misguided shame. As the verse reminds, those who are ashamed of what they should not be, and are not ashamed of what they should be, are bound by false views and descend into states of woe.
With every breath, let me uphold the right view. Allow me to see the world as it truly is, free from the veil of ignorance. Let me not be ashamed of my honest mistakes, for they are the stepping stones to wisdom. Let me be ashamed only of falsehood, hatred, and harm caused to others.
In the face of adversity, may I remain rooted in compassion, in understanding, and in truth. Like a lotus rising from muddy waters, let my mind rise above the mire of delusion, unsoiled by the stains of false views.
May my actions reflect the teachings of the Buddha, my words echo the truth of Dhamma, and my thoughts be in harmony with the wisdom of Sangha.
Let me walk in the path of righteousness and wisdom, not swayed by false views or misplaced shame. Let me embody the teachings of the Enlightened One, living a life of truth, compassion, and wisdom.
As I step into the world, may this prayer be my guide, a lantern in the darkness, a compass in the storm.
And may I carry this mantra in my heart, to remind me of my purpose and my path:
"Truth over falsehood, wisdom over ignorance, compassion over harm."
May this mantra echo in my mind, my words, and my deeds. May it guide me to uphold what is right and shun what is wrong, leading me from states of woe to realms of bliss.
So be it.
