As I awaken to the light of this new day, I humbly bow to the wisdom of the Dhammapada. I bring forth the teachings of the Pakinnakavagga, where it is said, "The good shine from afar, like the Himalaya mountains. But the wicked are unseen, like arrows shot in the night."
Just as the majestic Himalayas, may my actions and intentions be as clear and noble. May my goodness be seen from afar, my kindness radiate out, touching all beings with warmth and compassion.
As I embark on the journey of this day, may I remember the unseen arrows of the night - the deeds of deceit, harm, and ill-will. I vow to refrain from such actions, to remain mindful of their darkness, and to cultivate instead the light of wisdom and goodness.
May I be like the Himalaya mountains, steadfast in my commitment to truth, compassion, and loving-kindness. May I cultivate a heart that is clear and open, a mind that is serene and wise.
May I navigate through the challenges of the day with grace and equanimity, always remembering the teachings of the Dhammapada. Let my actions reveal my heart, let my heart reflect the Dharma.
And as I traverse through the day, may I keep the mantra close to my heart: "Be like the Himalaya, shine with goodness and stand tall with truth."
May all beings be happy, may all beings be safe, may all beings be free from suffering.
"Be like the Himalaya, shine with goodness and stand tall with truth."
